OVERVIEW

nuSynergetic Orchestra is a genre-blending ensemble based in Varaždin, known for its ever-evolving structure and large-scale performances in unconventional spaces.

The group draws from jazz, funk, classical, soul, and electronic music — often featuring 30+ performers per show, including students, professionals, and guest artists.

MARIN’S ROLE

Live sound production (FOH, monitoring, rig coordination)

Technical planning for complex venue acoustics (halls, squares, industrial spaces)

Rehearsal mixing & documentation

Recording + post-production for select concerts and sessions

Collaborator on arranging and adapting sound setup for each project

CONTEXT & CHALLENGES

Venues ranged from factory halls and outdoor squares to traditional stages (e.g. Rogoz, Vile Bedeković, Synagogue)

Shows included up to 40+ performers at once, including vocalists, strings, horns, and electronics

No fixed FOH setup — each performance required custom planning and fast adaptation

Tight rehearsal windows and highly dynamic setlists meant mixing “on feel” with real-time precision
